My presentation will emphasise the excellent work that repairers do in Benin but also the underlying problems that hide their actions (programmed obsolescence, lack of importance of a regulation, heap of WEEE …)

Club de Reparadores is a movement that promotes repair as a practice of responsible consumption and care for natural resources. We organize community repair events and promote the creation of self-organized, independent and voluntary repair events at federal and international levels as well. In this session we will share how community repair has evolved in the latinamerican region.
