Here’s how you can run a session at Fixfest

Fixfest is a global gathering for the repair community: repairers, community organisers, makers, activists, researchers, tinkerers, policy makers and companies. We’re planning a weekend of discussion, workshops, and more–both with you and by you. Between events there will be time to meet new people and form new connections.

As always, much of Fixfest will be an ‘unconference’, giving you the chance to shape the programme and run sessions you think are interesting. These sessions will run on Saturday 1 October and Sunday 2 October. If you have something you’d like to share and would like to run a session, please complete the form below.

We want you to have fun and get creative with the Fixfest programme!

Don’t be afraid to put forward ideas that might seem niche, or discussion topics that are tricky. The whole point of an unconference is that it catches all the exciting things that can slip through the cracks of a regular conference programme. If you’ve got an idea but you’re not sure how to deliver it, don’t worry – we can help you.

The deadline for submissions is: 22/08/2022

If you are slow in proposing your session, never fear: we hope to have open lightning talk sessions on the day.
